In 2006,
the company was purchased by Jaime Ryga. Jaime was the
first employee of Selkirk Mountain Helicopters from 1991
to 1993. He began as an apprentice engineer and later
pursued his pilot’s license, first flying an Enstrom
doing scenic flights for Selkirk Mountain Helicopters.
After leaving Selkirk Mountain Helicopters, Jaime
expanded his flying experience from light helicopter in
Northern BC and North West Territories and later in the
Southern BC Mountains flying intermediates. Later he
worked for Alpine Helicopters as a Heliski pilot in the
winter and forest fire pilot in the summer on mediums
for 8 years. In 2006 Gerry and Linda Richard sold the
business to Jaime so they could pursue other interests. |

Since the
change in ownership, the company has been changing
direction from operating Bell Long Rangers to Eurocopter
AS350 helicopters. Under the new ownership we still
maintain a focus on safety and customer service as did
the previous owners.
Currently,
the company operates two AS350 B2 Helicopters with the
Honeywell LTS101-700D-2 engine.
